CHECK CABLE CONNECTION
If traction control cable (A, Figure 5) and auger control cable (B)
have become unattached from motor mount frame, reconnect ca-
bles.
If the cables become stretched, unattached or begin to sag,
adjustment will be necessary. See Maintenance section of this
manual.

Checking Cable Connection and Adjustment
ASSEMBLE THE SHIFTER KNOB
1. Place hex nut (A, Figure 6) onto threaded end of the shifter
lever (B).
2. Thread shifter knob (C) onto the shifter lever.
3. Tighten hex nut against the bottom of the shifter knob.

INSTALL THE DEFLECTOR CHUTE
NOTE: The chute ring assembly (A) comes installed on the
unit from the factory (see Figure 7).
1. Install deflector chute (B) and chute ring (C) using four
screws (D) and nuts (E).
NOTE: Make sure the slot in the chute ring aligns with the
arrow on the outer ring as shown.
2. Tighten screws (D) snugly but be careful not to over-tighten.
