Remove the battery earth cable.
Dismantle the rear light units as follows:
Remove the two screws, and take a firm wire with a length of about 1 meter.
Let the wire down behind the black synthetic plate and pull strongly the wire , but carefully, with the two ends in the length direction of the car
backwards.
ATTENTION! The rear light units may spring unexpected out! Don't wring!

Drill two 11 mm holes underneath the transverse tubebeam at de rear, near the left and right side middle-fittingpoint of the towbar, or use an
existing hole.
Remove carefully all metal particles around the holes and treat the surroundings with anti-rust paint.
Place the rubber grommets in the holes.

Route the blue and grey wires from the middle of the fusebox, in the front of the vehicle, among the left side of the vehicle, to the socket. Fit the
4-pole connector between the rearfoglight-relay. Lead, by using a drawspring, the 4-pole wire-end, with the yellow, red and black wires and
also the grey and blue wires, from the left rearlightunit to the left hole. Lead also the other wire-end, with the white, brown and green wires, from
the right rearlightunit to the right hole.
Lead both ends underneath the vehicle to the socket. Pull the coverplate over the three wireparts.
Remove the contactholder from the socket and fit the wires as follows:
Trailer lighting:
Left turn signal
Rearfoglight
Earth
Right turn signal
Right taillight
Brakelights
Left taillight
Rearfoglight
4.
On the left and right rearlightunit connectors are located. Disconnect them.
Fit the connectors of the harnesses between the cleared connectors of the rearlightunits.
Fit the white wire to chassis earth.
5.
Fit the socket to the towbar.
Reinstall the battery and check all electric functions with the trailer/caravan connected.
Fit all disassembled parts.
