1. Introduction
The CO
The electrolyte and the membrane are designed specifically for measuring CO
can be used in aqueous or gaseous media.
It will work with the following adapters:
ESAO 3.1 CO
ESAO 4 CO
VTT CO
CO
in conjunction with the appropriate interfaces; ESAO 3.1, ESAO 4, VTT/Primo and
AirNeXT/Foxy, respectively.
It will also work with a pH meter with an input impedance greater than 10
with a BNC plug, and which reads the values in mV.
The probe consists of a pH electrode. This electrode is designed especially to measure
CO
CO
permeable to CO
The probe is connected to the CO
plug.
The following types of experiments can be performed:
ATTENTION:
The electrode contains ethylene glycol, which is an irritant. The other chemical compounds
are not dangerous.
The pH electrode is made of a special, thin glass and is therefore fragile.

and is immersed in a special electrolyte. The pH of this electrolyte is a function of the

concentration in the medium in which it is placed. A Teflon membrane selectively

separates the electrolyte from the medium to be analyzed.
