Step 6: Tamper switch, function

The hybrid module is protected against unauthorised opening and wall tampering contact via the
housing tamper switch and the wall tamper switch. The tamper information is transmitted to the
alarm panel.
The wall tamper contact is only in operation if the jumper is not connected to the 2
pins of DISABLE REAR TAMPER.
Danger
For test purposes and if the hybrid module is not yet mounted on the wall, the jumper
can be connected to the 2 pins. The wall tamper switch is thus bridged and therefore
out of operation.
The hybrid module was designed so that changes to the zone status are detected if
they last at least 400 ms (EN50131-1 Chapter 8.9.1 and EN50131-3 Chapter 8.9 and
Danger
Annex B).
Break-in, intrusion and tampering signals must last at least 400 ms.

Step 7: Switch on the hybrid module and start operation

Start operation of the external power supply unit.
The external power supply should be a power supply unit with integrated backup
power supply. The hybrid module is then still supplied with electricity from the batter-

ies of the unit's backup power supply in the event of a power failure.
The hybrid module does not have a built-in backup power supply.
The software version of the hybrid model is indicated by the LEDs immediately after
the power supply is connected. You can find details on this in the chapter "Software
Note
version displayed by LEDs".
