a long time even when the coolbox is switched off. To maximize
and extend the cooling effect over time, we suggest you use the
original Gio'Style ice packs (see ACCESSORIES).
Caution!
The appliance is suitable to keep cool food and drinks in
their original containers. Never use the coolbox for more
than 72 hours of continuous operation.
Prolonged and continuous use may reduce performance or even
damage the cooling system. Once the coolbox is switched off, wait
at least 2 hours before turning it on again.
Caution!
After a long period of operation, water may form and ac-
cumulate at the bottom of the coolbox. This is normal, as
air humidity condenses during the cooling process. This does not
mean the coolbox is faulty.
If necessary, remove excess humidity with a dry cloth.
N.B.!
The cooling is produced by a Peltier cooling system
that does not contain CFCs or coolants.

5. OPERATION

• Once connected to the power source the coolbox immediately
begins to operate. It can cool food and keep it cold.
• To turn off the coolbox just disconnect the power cord.
Note for dual-power models (Energy Saver), with function key:
when connected to your home 230 VAC electrical system, you can
select three types of operation:
1. ECO FUNCTION (green LED):
the appliance complies with the Energy Saving Directive (EC
Regulation No. 643/2009), maintaining the assigned energy
class (see section 1), ensuring an internal temperature of °C >
14.5 °C with an outside temperature of between 16 °C and 38 °C.
2. COOL FUNCTION (orange LED):
the appliance DOES NOT comply with the Energy Saving Direc-
tive (EC Regulation No. 643/2009) of reference and operates in
intermediate mode.

7. TROUBLESHOOTING

The fan turns but the coolbox does not cool.
Water forms inside the coolbox during
operation.

3. PLUS FUNCTION (red LED):
the appliance DOES NOT comply with the Energy Saving Direc-
tive (EC Regulation No. 643/2009), but operates continuously
at maximum power and, therefore, the temperature may drop to
4.5 °C (always depending on the outside temperature).
To select the three settings press the function key for about 5 seconds.
ATTENTION: After 48 ±3 hours of continuous operation,
the coolbox will return to operating in ECO mode.
