Children must not be left unattended when using
the appliance.
• The appliance shall only be connected as
instructed below:
- use a 230Vac cable for connection to AC house-
hold mains outlet (where provided).
- use a 12Vdc cable for connection to your vehi-
cle power socket or alternatively, the output
12Vdc 5A SELV (safety extra low voltage) of a
Power Adapter Certificate (optional).
• Never unplug the appliance from the power sock-
et or the household mains socket by pulling the
power cable.
• If the connection cable is damaged, it must be
replaced with a new one of the same type and
exposed cables with your bare hands. This es-
pecially applies when operating the appliance on
an AC mains.
Caution: Do not connect the two power
supplies (where provided) at the same time
to avoid damage to the appliance / vehicles / ac-
cessories.
Caution: Danger of fatal injury!
• Always disconnect the power cable befor
cleaning and after use.
• Always compare the voltage data provided on
the rating plate with that of the available sockets
and outlets.
• Before operating the coolbox, always ensure that
the power supply line and the plug are dry.
• Do not operate the appliance in excessively dusty
places. Dust is likely to obstruct the air ducts and
damage the coolbox.
Caution: Danger of overheating!
• Check that any heat produced during ope
ration is adequately given off. Ensure that the
distance between the appliance and the walls or
other objects is 30 cm at least to allow a free cir-
culation of air.
• Do not pour any liquid or ice into the coolbox.
• Never place the appliance in water.
• Protect the appliance and all wires from heat and
humidity.
• To avoid overheating or malfunction, ensure the
cessories (Power Adapter - battery monitor - Power
Transformer) to make proper electrical contact.
• Do not touch the metal end of the plug after use,
as it may be very hot and cause burns.
• If the vehicle does not have a power socket, connect
the 12VDC cable to the cigarette lighter socket.
Warning: This connection could lead to ex-
cessive overheating of the plug and the car
cigarette lighter socket of the vehicle. Constantly
check the correct operation of the appliance and
that the temperature of the car plug and the ciga-
rette lighter socket does not rise excessively.
When using the cigarette lighter socket, do not
leave the appliance unattended.

sponsibilities for damages caused by im-
proper use or misuse of the appliance.
This appliance can be used by children aged 8
years and over and by persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of ex-
perience and knowledge, only under proper supervi-
sion and if aware of the instructions regarding its
safe use and well-aware of the relative risks.
Cleaning and user maintenance should not be
performed by children without supervision.

3. CONNECTIONS

Connection to 12Vdc power socket
- Pull out or connect the 12Vdc cable to the lid of the appli-
ance (depending on the model)
Connection to AC 230Vac household power supply mains
(in models provided with this option)
Connect the 230Vac cable to the lid of the appliance
Caution!
Ensure you ALWAYS plug in the power cable in the correct
way.
Caution!
For models where a dual power supply mode is provided:
NEVER connect the 12 Vdc and the 230 Vac cables at the
same time.

4. USE

• Suitable for use in campsites.
• Appliance should not be exposed to rain.
• This appliance is designed for domestic and similar applications.
• For health-related reasons, always clean the appliance inside and
outside with a wet cloth any time you use it.

• Always store previously cooled food and drinks in the coolbox.
• Let warm foods cool down before storing them in the coolbox.
(except for the model Shiver 40 – 12 V).
• The coolbox must be opened as little as possible, and then imme-
diately reclosed so that a constant temperature can be held inside.
• The special insulation allows food and drinks to remain fresh for
Autogoods "130"
