Multi-light Mounting Bar – Included with your Quad Pod is a bar in-
tended to allow you to mount multiple lights to achieve higher levels of
illumination than can be achieved with a single light. To utilize the bar,
mount it into the clamp grip as noted above.
Note: While Light-N-Carry flood lights have very strong
magnets, we recommend securing mounted lights to the bar
using the included hardware or other methods to reduce the
likelihood of dropping the light as a result of a hard shock.
Note: When using the multi-light mounting bar, take care not
to overweight one side over the other, which could result in an
increased tipping hazard.
INCREASING STABILITY USING A BALLAST DEVICE
To help stabilize the Quad Pod during windy or otherwise destabiliz-
ing conditions, hang a sandbag or similar ballast device from the leg
support arms.
Note: Take care not to overload the Quad Pod with excessive
weight, as this could have an adverse effect and actually
destabilize the Quad Pod.
MAINTENANCE
Always clean and dry the Quad Pod after it has been exposed to wet,
dusty, sandy or salty conditions. Your Quad Pod is not recommended
for use in or around salt water. If required, clean Quad Pod using a
mild soap solution applied with a soft cloth, rinse with a fresh water and
dry with soft towel. Remove any dust, dirt or sand from locking mecha-
nisms, leg sections and all moving parts
