factors such as rain. Carefully remove the cover (Fig. B2) to

in Fig. D.
Connecting the outdoor unit
Two LR14C batteries can be used as a power supply if there
is no electromagnetic door opener.
An electromagnetic door opener can be connected to
the outdoor unit. This is powered by the CAF radio door
intercom system. Use an external power supply for this
and do not exceed the maximum permissible DC voltage
of 12 V.
Connect up the radio door intercom system as shown
in Fig. F. The silica gel plug (Fig. F2) on the back of the
outdoor unit is used to prevent the screws from rusting. You
should remove these plugs prior to connecing the wires and
then replace them after connection.
Connecting the charger
Insert the power pack connector (Fig. E1) into the power
supply jack (Fig. C1) and plug the power pack into a socket.
Connecting the mobile indoor unit
Open the battery compartment (Fig. A10) and insert the 3
rechargeable batteries. Make sure that they are inserted the
right way round (+/-). Close the battery compartment.
Activation
Prior to activation, the mobile indoor unit must be charged
for approx. 15 hours in the charger (Fig. C).
The mobile indoor unit will automatically switch on when it
is placed in the charger, and the charge indicator (Fig. C3)

every 5 minutes. If the voltage falls below 3.35 V, the indoor
unit will be automatically switched off .

The outdoor unit must be registerd with the indoor unit
before it can be used. To do so, start by removing the small
