Commissioning
1. Remove battery transit tab
As soon as the battery transit tab is removed, the unit
starts to operate.
2. Prepare the adapter frame
⇒ Check for the right adapter frame!
Certain adapter frames require modifications on the left
and right. Proceed as shown on Fig. 2.
3. Prepare the room temperature
controller for wall mounting
Proceed as shown on Fig. 1.
4. Check wiring
For correct wiring, refer to "Connection diagrams".
5. Mounting the room temperature
controller in the wall
Proceed as shown on Fig. 3.
6. Configuration with DIP switches
(Fig. 4 & 5)
6.1 Optimum P.1 on
Optimum on brings forward the switch on point P.1 such
that the selected set value will be reached at the desired
time. The setting depends on the type of control system,
that is, on heat transmission (piping system, radiators),
building dynamics (building mass, insulation) and heating
output (boiler output, flow temperature).
Also refer to Fig. 6!

6.5 DIP switch reset (Fig. 4)
If one or several DIP switch positions are changed, a reset
must be made!

8. Functional check
a) Check the display. If there is no display, check the
correct fitting and function of the batteries.
b) Select operating mode
c) Open front cover. Move setting slider to
d) In the case of heating mode, set the set value
temperature to 29 °C using button
e) In the case of cooling mode, set the set value
temperature to 3 °C using button
f) Move setting slider to AUTO/RUN.
g) The relay and thus the regulating unit must respond
after no more than 1 minute. If this is not the case:
• Check regulating unit and wiring
• Room temperature may be higher than 29 °C or
lower than 3 °C
h) Reset set value temperature
(heating mode 19 °C, cooling mode 23 °C).
9. Calibration
If the displayed room temperature does not agree with the
measured temperature, the unit can be recalibrated.
Proceed as shown on Fig. 7, Steps 1...5.
10. Notes
• If the reference room is equipped with thermostatic
radiator valves, they must be set to their fully open
position.
• The local regulations and standards for electrical
installations must be observed.
• The factory setting of all DIP switches is OFF.
• Corrected DIP switch settings must be activated by
making a DIP switch reset..
