FITTING THE CARRIER ON THE BICYCLE

Unscrew the QST knob (G1) and simultaneously lift the
QST release button (G2). Open the attachment brackets
(G3) to an aperture wider than the rack.

Fasten the QST knob (G1) so that the carrier is well
attached to the rack. As soon as the QST knob is well
tightened, make sure the QST release button is properly
held as shown in the picture.

Place the carrier on the rack and then fasten the QST
knob (G1) so that the carrier remains slightly attached to
the rack. Check if the attachment brackets (G3) are
properly fastened to the rack.

The carrier has a center of gravity (F) (engraved on the
carrier) that must be positioned in front of the rear wheel
axle. If it is positioned behind the axle, the distance must
not exceed 10 cm / 3.94 in, as shown in the picture. If the
center of gravity is more than this distance from the axle,
adjust the carrier to the correct position. Make sure that
the rack attachment system (G) is firmly attached to the
carrier before proceeding. This step is extremely
important for child and cyclist safety. Check the safety of
the fasteners regularly.
