NOTE
The lift may only be installed by experts (e.g. cabinet makers, joiners, furniture
manufacturers).
> Route power cables along the floor in such a way that that they cannot
become trapped in moving parts.
> Do not move the lift unless the built-in drawers are closed.
Electrical safety:
> Ensure that the power source corresponds with the mains voltage /
power frequency listed on the type plate.
> Never modify or replace the plug or the cable.
> Do not install or store product components and cables near hot
surfaces, heat sources, highly flammable materials or areas where
there is direct sunlight.
> Do not install or store electrical product components in the vicinity of
water or damp areas.
> An earthed Schuko safety socket that has been installed in accord-
ance with national regulations must be available for the electrical
connection. The connection data of the socket must correspond with
the connection data of the lift (see chapter "2.4 Installation require-
ments / Technical data").
> Install product components so that the power cable can be connected
directly to the socket. Do not use any distributors or adapters.
> Do not jam, crush, bend or damage the cable during the installation
(e.g. by drilling, cutting). Do not route cable over sharp edges or
corners. Install cable with sufficient clearance from moving or rotating
parts.
> Fix the cables of the control panel using cable holders.
> Tie together excessively long cables neatly (but without tension) using
cable ties or a strain relief device. The cable routing must be clearly
recognisable.
• The lift is supplied in two boxes on a palette. Transport packaging with at least
two persons or a fork lift.
• Ensure that no wall units or other objects are attached above the lift with lifting
shelf.
• If the lift does not have a lifting shelf, leave at least 150 mm of free space above
the highest point of the lift. Take attached parts into consideration.
• If moving and fixed furniture items are attached next to each other: Reinforce the
cabinet sides in order to prevent objects and parts of the body from being trapped.
Distance between moving and fixed parts: 4 mm.
• Take measures to prevent liquids from getting behind the furniture item. For
example, fit rear panel or pane of glass, or install grooved worktop.
• Ensure that the furniture item is standing horizontally and is suitable for mounting
the lift, as well as being sufficiently load bearing and stable.
• Ensure that the proper fixing materials are used, taking the size and weight of the
furniture item into consideration.
• Ensure that the installation requirements and limits of the product that are
described in this chapter are adhered to.
