Troubleshooting

WARNING
Risk of electric shock and injury!
• In the event of damage, contact the Vorwerk Customer Service Centre.
• Never perform repairs on your device yourself. Repairs to electric appliances may only be car-
ried out by your authorised Vorwerk Customer Service Centre.
• Stop using the AC charger if it is damaged.
• Always switch the device off before all retrofitting, cleaning and maintenance work.
• Disconnect the accessory head from the cordless vacuum cleaner before performing retrofitting,
cleaning or maintenance work on the accessory head.
If your device does not function properly, it could be
due to one of the following reasons:

The cordless vacuum cleaner cannot
be switched on.

Possible cause and solutions
Your cordless vacuum cleaner may still be in transport
mode (condition on delivery).
• Charge the cordless vacuum cleaner.
The battery pack may be empty.
• Charge the cordless vacuum cleaner.
The cordless vacuum cleaner may not have been charged
correctly.
• Charge the cordless vacuum cleaner (if the charger is
correctly connected, the indicator will pulsate to show
that the cordless vacuum cleaner is charging).
The battery pack may not be inserted or may not be in-
serted correctly.
• Insert the battery pack as described in chapter "5.2.3
Replacing the battery pack on the Kobold VB100 Cord-
less Vacuum Cleaner" on page 33.
The charger may still be connected.
• Disconnect the cordless vacuum cleaner from the charg-
er. The cordless vacuum cleaner will not start up if the
charger is connected.
