6 MAKING
DRINKS*
Making drinks manually:
1. Select a product and place an empty cup under the corresponding
cartridge.
2. Pull the cartridge dispensing mechanism towards you as far as it will go,
then let it return to position (some drinks require more than one dose (one
dose = one pull); the recommended dose is shown on the cartridge).
3. Place the cup under the water nozzle and press the button. Hot water will
flow for as long as the button is pressed. Add the amount of water
required to the cup.
4. Stir to dissolve all the product.
Making long and short coffees:
1. Place an empty cup under the coffee dispenser.
2. Press on the long or short coffee button, as required.
3. The drink is dispensed automatically.

STANDBY*
If the machine is not used for two hours (i.e. no button is pressed) it will switch to standby:
The heater stops keeping the water at its operating temperature,
The green light flashes slowly.
To awaken the machine, simply press on any one of the three buttons (long or short coffee or hot
water):
The heater switches on to warm up the water,
The indicator light changes to steady green when the water is at the right temperature :
the machine is then ready to use,
The light changes to flashing green/orange if the water temperature is too low: wait for
the light to change to steady green (not more than one minute).
Once the steady green light on the machine is on, press on your selection.
