Wall installation

The charger base can either sit on a flat surface (Fig. 1) or be mounted vertically against a wall (Fig. 2).

To mount the charger base on a wall:
1.
Find a suitable location within 180 cm of an electric socket. If the base is less than 180 cm away,
make a coil with the excess wire behind the base and pass the power supply cord through the
cable entry.
Comment: Do not use an electric socket that is controlled by a switch.
2.
Place the base against the wall in the desired location and use a pencil to mark the centre of each
hole, taking care to ensure they are properly aligned. The distance between the holes is 6.5 cm.
3.
Drill a hole in the centre of the first mark. Put a wall plug in the hole, then insert a screw and leave
the screw head slightly proud.
4.
Drill the second hole and fit the second wall plug and screw.
5.
Hang the base on the screws.
6.
Tighten the 2 screws to secure the base to the wall.
Recharge the vacuum cleaner
The battery must be charged for 6 hours before the appliance is used for the first time.
Comments:
•
The appliance will get warm when charging and in use. This is normal.
•
As your appliance is fitted with a battery that does not suffer from the 'memory effect', you can
recharge it without having to discharge it first.

Check that the on/off switch is set to position "0".

Slide the appliance onto the charger base with the handle facing downwards (Fig. 3).
3.
Plug the power supply connector into the base, then the mains adapter to an electric socket.
The indicator light shows red when the appliance is charging on its base (Fig. 4). If the indicator
light is off, it means that the appliance has not been correctly positioned on its base.
4.
When charging is finished, the indicator light turns green.

surfaces.

For use in hard-to-reach areas such as corners, crevices, skirting boards,
