Safety Instructions

Only use scales on level and firm work surfaces.

Do not allow children to use unsupervised.
●
Do not use the scales in environments with strong
electromagnetic disturbances.
●
Do not exceed this product's maximum load weight
of 5kg.
Battery Safety Advice
●
Always make sure the polarities on the battery match
those on the battery compartment.
●
Only use the correct CR2032 batteries with these
scales.
●
If the battery leaks, remove it from the compartment
with a cloth and dispose of immediately according to
local regulations. If battery acid makes contact with any
body part, rinse the area immediately with clean water.
●
Batteries are harmful if swallowed. Always supervise
children and pets around batteries.
●
Remove the battery from the scales if you intend to
not use them for extended periods of time.
●
Always make sure to properly dispose of exhausted
batteries.
Warning! Danger of explosion if the battery is incorrectly
inserted or handled improperly!
CR2032 Batteries must not be recharged, disassembled,
disposed of in fire, short circuited or otherwise tampered
with!
Before First Use
●
Remove all packaging.
●
Remove the plastic protection tab from the battery
compartment.
●
Make sure the scales are in full working order.
●
Make sure the battery is sat correctly in the battery
compartment, with the + polarity facing outwards.
●
Clean the scales thoroughly, as outlined in the
Cleaning and care section.
