    PRECAUTIONS TO AVOID POSSIBLE EXPOSURE TO EXCESSIVE MICROWAVE ENERGY 1. DO NOT attempt to operate this oven with the door open as open-door operation can result in harmful exposure to microwave energy. It is important not to defeat or tamper with the safety interlocks.

    A short power cord is provided to reduce the risk of the user becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord. Longer cord sets or extension cords are available and may be used if care is exercised in their use. If an extension cord is used, the marked electrical rating of the cord should be at least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance.
  • Page 9 Guidelines and safety tips for microwave cooking: 1. DO NOT use sealed jars or narrow neck bottles for cooking or reheating.They may shatter. 2. Remove plastic store wrap before cooking or defrosting foods in the oven. 3. Avoid inserting nails, wire, etc. through any holes in the unit during operation.
