Electrode grinding
On TIG AC mode
The electrode will not need grinding, except when using a very low current <50A. It is normal for a ball to appear at the
end of the electrode. The ball size will become larger as the current and balance is increased.
On TIG DC mode
To optimise the welding process, it is recommended to grind the electrode prior to welding as described in the diagram
below :
Trigger command connector
The trigger command socket is laid out in the following way:
COOLING SYSTEM (TIG 200 L AC/DC ONLY)
FAILURE to adhere to this may result in damage to the pump in the cooling system.
The system is designed for cooling the TIG torch « liquid cooled ». It operates:
• Simultaneously with the fan.
• Only in TIG mode (the pump will start even with an « air cooled » torch).
Fill the tank with an engine coolant (or similar) up to the mark, taking care not to over-fill (1.25 L capacity).

REMOTE CONTROL

The remote control operates in TIG and MMA mode.
Connector technology
The TIG 200 AC/DC and TIG 200 L AC/DC are equipped with a female socket for a remote control. The specific 7 point
male plug (ref.045699) enables connection to a manual remote control (RC) or foot pedal (PEd).
For the cabling lay out, see the diagram below.
