Connect the video source to the VIDEO BALUN by means of a coaxial cable.
Important note:
It is advisable to use a "A" – "B" 75 Ω coaxial cable for each video signal whose total length between
the source side and the user side is less than 50 m.

Make the necessary connections on source side.

Power the device by means of the power connector "7".
8.
Check that the red LED "1" is on.
9.
Check that the video signal is present: the green LED "5" should light up.
10.
Equalise and adjust the video signal:
a
adjust the dip switches "2" (see table 3) to obtain the required definition and contrast levels;
b
turn the potentiometer to reach the required brightness level.
11.
Repeat the operations in step 10 and firstly change the dip switch settings if the picture is not right.
Important note:
Consider the physical connection to be made with the utmost attention.
Although the video balun system allows to carry video signals on UTP cables generally used in IT systems,
the balun system will not be electrically compatible with the signals present online in any way. For
this reason, the utmost care is required when installing a video balun system using wires already installed
in an IT network.
