Chargers
The Pax-100 uses a dedicated charger. Be sure to read all safety instructions before using your charger.
Charging Procedure
1.
Plug the charger into an appropriate outlet before connecting the unit. A green light on the charger will
turn on. A spark may be produced when first connecting the charger.
2.
Connect the charger into the unit, make sure the unit sits on a safe surface in a safe area. The green light
on the charger will turn red indicating the charging cycle has begun.
3.
The light on the charger will turn green once the charge is complete.
Battery Fuel Gauge
The unit is designed to display the battery capacity only when it is in operation. The table below indicates the
meaning of the lights.
The charger and unit can be left plugged in without any negative effect on the battery. Weak batteries will
continue to function but should not be expected to last as long on a single charge. The charger will not charge a
faulty battery pack. In such an event, the unit will only blink a red light indefinitely. DO NOT charge the battery
pack in temperatures below +40°F (+4.5°C), or above +105°F (+40.5°C). the charger and battery pack may
become warm to the touch while charging. This is normal condition and does not indicate a problem.
