Appendix Nr 2
Scope
This appendix provides pressure inlet connection and disconnection procedure
for the owner and for the end user. It is part of the Instruction book for
regulators.

Pictures of quick coupler are informative and they are given for easier coupler
type identification. Real coupler may be little different depending on gas witch
is used. Connection / Disconnection and service recommendations are the
same.

Perform a functional test of the external sleeve prior to connection

Connection:
1
1)Insert the central tube of male probe in the coupler central

hole – set the external lugs of male probe opposite the coup-

ler notch and push forward until it stops.

2)Maintain the force on the quick coupler and turn it right until
the external lugs of male probe are in front of the round coup-
t
l
ler groove.
3)Release the force and make sure the male probe lugs are
locked.
Disconnection:
1) Push the male probe forward until it stops.
2) Maintain the force on the quick coupler and turn it left until
the external lugs of male probe are opposite the coupler
notch.
3)Release the force and pull out the male probe from the
quick coupler.
