Product description:
CPFL-S = for projecting installation on ceiling
Diameter : 105mm ; Depth : 55mm.
CPFL-E = for flush-mounting installation in false ceiling
Diameter : 90mm ; Depth (visible part) : 22mm (totale) : 69mm
Working principle:
These devices detect infrared radiations associated with heat emitted
by moving bodies.
Detection is by a pyro-electric sensor located under lens.
Detection angle: 360°.
2. Location:
Secure to the ceiling of the area to be ventilated:
-
Recommended installation height: between 2.5 m and 3.5 m
Installation height (m)
2.50

3.50
-
Number of detectors to be installed: as many as offer at least
78% coverage of the detection zone
(= distance of 1 m from partitions).
-
Take care to avoid: overlaps, dead zones, ambient disturbances
(convector heat sources, sunlight etc.).
CPFL-S:
1. Unscrew the protecting cover
2. Wire the detector according with the connection diagrams
3. Fix the detector with the screws provided (Ø 4mm)
4. Set potentiometers 1 and 2 according with the indications given
paragraph 3.
5. Screw the protecting cover
CPFL-E:
1. Cut out a 75 mm diameter hole in the ceiling (Ceiling thickness
from 5 to 20 mm)
2. Wire the detector according with the connection diagrams
3. Set potentiometers 1 and 2 according with the indications given
paragraph 3.
4. Fix the detector by pushing both springs upward, then insert it in
the hole cut out previously.

3. Technical characteristics:
Connection capacity: flexible multithread with terminal ending or rigid
section: from 1 to 2.5mm².
Power supply: single-phase 230 V 50 Hz.
No-load power consumption: 1.2 W.
Note: when power on, the detector's contact closes for 30 s (warmup
time).
Output: contact closes on detection; contact break power = 8 A AC1 at
230 V AC.
Important: a jumper is factory-installed between one of the contact
terminals and the phase. Remove to obtain a voltage-free contact
(which may be necessary depending on the type of device being
controlled).
Settings: 2 adjustable settings, using a flat-headed 3 mm screwdriver:
a) Timer for release of the output contact can be set from 5 s to 15 min
(factory setting = approx. 3 min).
Set to 9 minutes = arrow pointing upwards.
b) Luminosity threshold = from 5 to 1000 lux (factory setting = approx.
200 lux).
For movement to be detected, the luminosity threshold setting must
be higher than ambient luminosity.
The arrow should therefore be positioned on "sun" to prevent
the luminosity threshold from interfering with the operation of the
system.
Plastic casing with electrical insulation class: II
Protection index: IP 21 (IK: 03).
Operating environment:
Temperature: from 0 to 45 °C.
Relative humidity: max. 90% without condensation.
Servicing: once a year, clean the lens with a soft cloth, being
careful not to scratch it.
Standard compliance: this product meets standards IEC 60669-1 and
IEC 60669-2-1.
Electrical connections should conform to personal safety standards in
force in your country.
4. Electrical connection:
See specific installation guidelines for each system.
