Battery replacement
Keep batteries out of the reach of children.
Batteries are special waste and have no place in the household
waste.
Make sure that the polarity is correct when inserting the batteries.
Remove the batteries if the device is not used for a longer period of
time.
Do not leave the batteries lying around in the open; there is the risk
that they will be swallowed by children or pets. If swallowed,
consult a doctor immediately.
Make sure that batteries are not short-circuited or thrown into fire.
They must not be re-charged. There is a danger of explosion.
Leaking or damaged batteries can cause chemical burns to skin
when touched, use protective gloves.
Do not use batteries from different manufacturers or with a different
charging status at the same time.
Lift the battery compartment top on the device rear with both thumbs and remove
it.
Remove flat batteries (if applicable) and insert three new 1.5-V micro-batteries
(type AAA) in the battery compartment. Observe the polarity markings. The
correct polarity is stated in the battery compartment.
Close the battery compartment.
If the battery voltage is low, the battery warning icon will appear at the top left of
the display. Discharged batteries can lead to lower range of the remote control.
To ensure a long battery life we recommend you to use alkaline batteries.
Replacement of the batteries does not affect stored commands and
macros.
