Please read these instructions carefully before installing, operating or
servicing the fan. Failure to comply with the instructions contained herein
could result in personal injury or property damage. We recommend that
you keep this booklet for future reference.
Unpack and carefully remove unit from carton. Refer to the list of parts to
verify that all parts are present.
Description

This fan model uses a low noise fan driven motor. The motor is designed
and manufactured to have an extended service life and operates
very efficiently. There is a cut-off for safety and to extend the service life
of the motor.

Installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician and in
accordance with all local and safety codes, including the rules
for fire-rated constructions.
2.
Electric service supply must be 120 V 60 Hz.
3.
Follow all local safety and electrical codes as well as Canadian
Electrical Code and standards of health and safety at work.
4.
The switch must not be reached from the tub or shower.
5.
This unit must be properly grounded.

WARNING: TO REDUCE THE RISK OF FIRE, ELECTRIC SHOCK,
OR INJURY TO PERSONS, OBSERVE THE FOLLOWING:
a) Use this unit only in the manner intended by the manufacturer.

Do not bend or kink the power wires.

This ventilation fan is approved for use over a bathtub
or shower when installed on a ground-fault circuit interrupter
(GFCI) protected circuit.

12. This unit has to be ducted outside of building and avoid any sharp
corner, area reduction or unnecessary angles on ducking.
13. Do not vent exhaust air into spaces within walls or ceiling or into attic,
crawl spaces or garages.
14. Be careful not to damage existing wiring when cutting or drilling into
walls or ceilings.
15. Do not use this fan with a dimmer.
16. Ductwork should be installed in a straight line with minimal bends.
17. Ductwork size must be a minimum of the discharge and should not
be reduced. Reducing the duct size can increase fan noise.
