RV CONVERSION KIT FOR TQ285X / TQ285 / PRO285
This conversion must be performed by a qualified service person.
All connections must be leak tested before operating the grill.
Refer to the TQ285X /TQ285 / PRO285 manual for the part assembly diagrams
WARNING!

To avoid the possibility of burns, maintenance should
be done only when the grill is cool. Avoid unprotected
contact with hot surfaces. Ensure all burners are turned
off. Clean grill in an area where cleaning solutions will
not harm decks, lawns, or patios.
•
Always wear protective gloves and safety glasses when
servicing your grill.
Two adjustable wrenches or a wrench set are required

- Page 2 Step 1. • Ensure the gas grill is turned off. Disconnect the gas cartridge by turning counter clockwise to disengage. Step 2. • Disconnect the manifold flex hose from the regulator using two wrenches. Take care not to twist or damage manifold flex hose.
- Page 3 Step 3. 3/8“ (10 mm) • Remove the four screws to disconnect the regulator support and regulator from the side shelf. - Page 4 Step 4. • Attach flex tube to the fitting/bracket assembly as illustrated above. • Hand tighten the flex tube to the fitting/bracket assembly. Tighten using two wrenches. Take care not to twist or damage manifold flex hose. Step 5. • Secure the RV conversion hose to the fitting using two wrenches.
- Page 5 Step 6. 3/8“ (10 mm) • Attach the bracket to the side shelf as illustrated. Step 7. • Plug the male end of the RV Conversion hose into the RV quick connect. • Immediately complete a LEAK TEST as per the instructions included in this manual.

- Page 8 Step 4. • Attach flex tube to the fitting/bracket assembly as illustrated above. • Hand tighten the flex tube to the fitting/bracket assembly. Tighten using two wrenches. Take care not to twist or damage manifold flex hose. Step 5. • Secure the RV conversion hose to the fitting using two wrenches.
- Page 9 Step 6. 5/16” (8 mm) • Attach the bracket to the unit as illustrated. Step 7. • Plug the male end of the RV Conversion hose into the RV quick connect. • Immediately complete a LEAK TEST as per the instructions included in this manual.
- Page 10 Step 1. • Ensure the propane regulator is disconnected from the gas supply. Disconnect the propane regulator hose from the brass fitting by holding the brass fitting while loosening the hose fitting with a wrench. Step 2. • Hand tighten the female end of the RV Conversion hose to the brass fitting on the end of the manifold flex hose.
- Page 11 Bubbles will indicate a gas leak. Either tighten the loose joint or have the part replaced with one recommended by the Napoleon Customer Solutions department and have the grill inspected by a certified gas installer.

- Page 16 Étape 4. • Fixez le l’ensemble de raccord à le boyau flexible, comme illustré. • Serrez d’abord à la main le boyau flexible à l’ensemble de raccord. Serrez ensuite à l’aide de deux clés. Prenez soin de ne pas tordre ni endommager le boyau flexible du collecteur.
