service centre. 5 - If the electric cord is damaged, it must be replaced
immediately by the manufacturer, an authorised service centre or
similarly qualified persons in order to avoid hazards. 6 – Avoid
contact with your skin while the hair straightener is still operating:
the high temperatures could cause burns. 7 - Keep the appliance
and its electric cord away from sources of heat and from heat sensitive
surfaces (plastics, vinyl fabrics, etc.). 8 - Do not hold or handle the
appliance by the electric cord. Do not wind the electric cord around
the appliance, bend it or twist it so as not to impair its correct
functioning and thus damage the hair straightener. Lack of compliance
with the above warnings and instructions could cause a short
circuit and thus irreparable damage to the hair straightener, as well
as put the user's safety at risk. 9 - If the electric cord shows any
signs of damage or wear, it should be replaced by specialised personnel
only. Do not use fittings and/or accessories that have been modified or
that have not been approved by the manufacturer. 10 - Unplug the
appliance when not in use and allow it to cool down before storing
it in a safe place. To disconnect the appliance, unplug the power
cord from the wall socket. 11 - To clean the appliance, always
disconnect it from the power socket first and let it cool completely.
When cleaning, do not use aggressive products containing phenylphenol.

13 - For additional protection, the installation of a residual current
device (rcd) having a rated residual operating current not exceeding
30 mA is advisable in the electrical circuit supplying the bathroom.
Ask your installer for advice.
This appliance must not be used by people with reduced physical,
motor or mental capacity (including children), or with limited
knowledge of the appliance itself, unless such people have been
trained for its use or are under adequate supervision to ensure their
own safety. Children must be under supervision at all times to
ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
Do not use this appliance near bathtubs, showers, basins or
other vessels containing water.
This appliance has been designed with a double-insulation
