INSTALLATION
Before proceeding with the installation of the interface, power the control panel off by acting on the
mains external switching device, then open the front panel and disconnect the batteries from the
control panel. Then proceed as indicated:

Insert the P1 connector of the interface into the "COM2 MODULE" connector of the CPU
board located on the plastic front panel inside the control panel.

Fix the interface to the plastic front panel using the supplied screws, by screwing them into
the provided fixing points.

In case of wired Ethernet connection, insert the network cable into the network socket on the
interface, place the cable on the bottom of the front panel until it reaches the inside of the
control unit; fix the network cable by using the supplied plastic cable ties by hooking them to
the provided fixing points (see figure below).

In case of a WiFi connection, make sure that the signal emitted by the network modem/router
is properly received by the interface.

Reconnect the batteries, close the front panel and power the control panel on by acting on
the mains external switching device.

Take the control panel to the programming phase and proceed by enabling the IP interface
as indicated in the programming manual of the control panel.

With control panel in the field scanning phase, perform acquisition and programming of
the IP interface via the Urmet Secure App or by using the "Configuratore" PC program.
The network cable of the LAN line must be internally fixed to the control panel.
Note: the packaging contains the product label that must be applied externally on the control
panel below the product label of the control panel.
WARNING! installation of the IP interface must be performed while the control panel is powered
off.
