GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The interface IT500F is an alarm transmission and fault signalling equipment for fire detection
systems compliant to UE 305/2011 Construction Product Regulation and approved according to
the EN 54-21 standard. The IT500F is an optional module, which provides IP Ethernet/WiFi
connectivity to the Elkron FAP54 series fire detection control panels by making it possible to
integrate them in a LAN network and handle them remotely by using a Smartphone or a Tablet.
The interface is connected directly to the CPU board inside the control panel via a dedicated
connector and can be connected to the data network in two modes:
 WiFi
 Ethernet (via cable)
Internet access must be available on the data network.
From the Smartphone and/or Tablet, it will be possible:

To receive alarm, fault and maintenance events notifications

To verify in real time:
o the system general operating status
o the alarm, fault and maintenance active events
o the exclusions in the system
WARNING! Before proceeding to assembly, configuration and functional test, it is necessary to
have a mobile device, like a Smartphone or Tablet, where to install the dedicated App "My Elkron
Family".
By using the mobile device, read the QR code on the label printed on the product and proceed
with the App installation.
