General Safety Information
WARNING
:
The Drum Lifter is intended for specific
functions. Please adhere to the following
instructions to ensure safe and proper use.
• This drum lifter is designed for lifting drums in
vertical position only.
• The drum must have a top lip.
• Maximum capacity — 1000 Lbs. Do not exceed
rated capacity. Injury to person or property may
result from overloading, misuse, or carelessness.
• Inspect the drum lifter before each use. If there is
damage or distortion to any part, the drum lifter
must be removed from service until it is repaired
or replaced.
• Make sure the drum is secured by the lifting arms
before lifting.
• Suitable for use with standard steel or poly drums
with at least 3/16 inches chime.
• Lifting arms are adjustable to work with most 55
or 33 gallon drums.
WARNING
1. Do not exceed the rated load,1000 Lbs.
2. Do not operate a damaged or malfunctioning unit
or a unit with missing parts.
3. Do not operate without having read and
understood the operating manual.
4. Do not leave suspended loads unattended.
5. Do not make alterations or modifications to lifter.
6. Do not lift people or suspended loads over people.
7. Do not remove or obscure warning labels.
8. Stay clear of the suspended load.
9. Do not lift loads higher than necessary.
10. Do not use if top lip is damaged or deformed.
11. For safety and best results this product is
recommended to be used with a properly secured
drum lid. Use caution when using Drum lifter with
open drum.
