LUBRICATION
Inspect and lubricate the tool when required. Only use light oil to
lubricate the tool. Other lubricants may not be suitable and could
damage the tool or cause a malfunction during use.
When not in use for an extended period, apply a thin coat of lubricant to the
steel parts to avoid rust. Remove the lubricant before using the tool again.
DISPOSAL
Recycle a tool damaged beyond repair at the appropriate facility.
Contact your local municipality for a list of disposal facilities or by-laws for
electronic devices, batteries, oil or other toxic liquids.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Visit a Princess Auto Ltd. location for a solution if the tool does not
function properly or parts are missing. If unable to do so, have a
qualified technician service the tool.

1. No supply of power.
2. Brushes worn or
sticking.
3. Switch is faulty.
4. Motor components open.
5. Motor components short
circuited.
6. Power cord damaged.
1. Dull or damaged blade
or incorrect blade for
work being done.
2. Motor is overloaded.
SUGGESTED SOLUTION(S)
1. Check that power is
available at source.
2. Disconnect power, open
brush caps and ensure
brushes move freely in the
holders. Check whether the
brushes require replacing.
3. Replace faulty switch.
4. Close motor components.
5. Contact Princess Auto for
solution.
6. Replace damaged power
cord.
1. Replace blade with
new/correct blade.
2. Reduce pushing force on
portable band saw. See
