Do not attempt to insert or remove your battery when the lock is locked (horizontal position): This may break the security lock on your battery.

Before inserting your battery into its housing, check that there are no
foreign bodies or objects on the connectors.
Prior to removing your battery from its slot, unlock it using the key.
Keep the key turned and pull on the battery to remove it.
