3.2 LOADING THE SAND (washed and dried)
▪ Ensure that the 8 strainers (7) are securely tightened,
▪ Ensure that the vertical pipe (6) is correctly located in the center of the strainers and that the centering plug (see above)
has been installed
▪ Cover the strainers with water (1/3 of the filter) in order to slow the falling sand
▪ For the sand carefully through the upper opening (please refer to the table for the weight and size grading),
▪ Remove the centering plug. It will not be required again. Flatten the surface of the sand,
▪ Make sure that no sand has fallen into the central pipe (6) and clean off any residues from the filter tank.
