SYSTEM SETTINGS
D Restoring camera settings to
their default settings
(FACTORY DEFAULT)
The camera settings can be returned to the default settings.
Select "FACTORY DEFAULT" in the

system setting menu, and then tilt the
joystick lever to c.

The password entry screen will be displayed.
2 Select "SET", and then tilt the joystick
lever to c.

All settings except for the PAN, TOUR, SEQ,
PASSWORD and TITLE settings will be restored to the
factory default settings.
To return to the previous status without resetting the
settings, select "BACK".
■ To return all settings to the default settings
(except for CAMERA ID)
If you enter the password before selecting "SET", all settings
including the PAN, TOUR, SEQ, PASSWORD and TITLE
settings will be restored to the factory default settings.
Select "FACTORY DEFAULT" in the

system setting menu, and then tilt the
joystick lever to c.
The password entry screen will be displayed.
2 Select "PASSWORD", and then tilt the
joystick lever to c.
The first digit of the password will flash.

Enter the password.

Tilt the joystick lever to j or l to change the setting,
and tilt it to c to move the flashing cursor to the next
position.
Tilt the joystick lever to d and hold it there until
displayed. This completes the password entry.
4 Select "SET", and then tilt the joystick
lever to c.

All camera settings will be returned to the factory default
settings.
To return to the previous status without resetting the
settings, select "BACK".

: To return shaded items to the default settings, you
need to enter the password.
E Resetting settings (RESET)
This lets you reset camera operation so that you can redo all
operations from the beginning.
When you carry out a reset, all operations are stopped and
the settings are returned to the initial settings that were active
when the power was turned on.
Select "RESET" in the system setting

menu, and then tilt the joystick lever to c.
The camera will be reset and the self-test will start.
