Flange mount
•
Mount the blower on a flat bulkhead surface in the highest part of
the compartment free from spray or deck wash.
•
Cut a hole in the bulkhead and secure the blower with washers
and ¼" (6 mm) screws (NB! Tighten the screws evenly to avoid
damaging the flange).
•
Use a suitable discharge fitting so that the static pressure of the
blower will not be affected by a change in wind direction.
•
Route inlet ducting with as few bends as possible to the lower 1/3
of the bilge compartment where vapors are likely to accumulate.
•
Be sure to position the ducting below the top of the engine
stringers, but not so low as to become submerged in bilge water.
•
Position pickup to take advantage of natural airflow direction.

•
