10.- Opening the pot: In order to open the pot, it´s necessary to eliminate the interior pressure.
Therefore, to remove the steam, slowly turn the pressure control valve setting to the
0 position (steam out), doing so gradually since the steam will be released as the setting is
turned to this position. Once this position has been reached, the safety/block valve will
descend. Rotate the lid in a counter-clockwise direction and remove it to access the food.

MAIN FEATURES

Pressure control valve:
The pressure control valve allows you to select the pressure level,
from 0 bar (slow cooking) to 0.9 bar (fast cooking). This will depend
on the foods being cooked. It´s best to cook vegetables and fish at
low pressure (close to 0 bar), and meats, legumes, and rice at the
maximum pressure (0.9 bar).
Lid and sealing ring;
IMPORTANT: Make sure the sealing joint is in place before
closing the cover, as shown in the photo. .
Sealing rings are subject to wear-and-tear, and must be replaced
when necessary.
IMPORTANT: you should only use our own original sealing
rings.
Filler marking / litre scale:
Shows details of minimum and maximum filling, also contents in
litres. An important scale: never cook without liquid, and never
cook more than 2/3-full.
The pressure cooker:
