Operating the leak detector

Before initial use

NOTE
Insert the batteries (fig. 1 3, page 2) before you use the device
for the first time.
7.2
Switching on the leak detector
➤ Press the start button (fig. 2 4, page 2) to switch on the device.
✔ The device regenerates the sensor for 35 seconds.
✔ The LED bar graph lights up several times from left to right.
✔ It emits one beep. The device is ready to use.

Operating the leak detector
Explanation
Beep is emitted when a leak is detected.
This shows the size of the leak and ensures
the precise location of the leak can be found
quickly. The nearer or larger the leak is, the
more bars are shown.
 LED lights up: batteries are charged
 LED does not light up: batteries are charged
10 %
 switches the device on and off
 switches between the four sensitivity levels
indicate leaks with R1234yf
indicate leaks with R134a and all other gases
