Using the gas griddle with the included backing tray
Before using the backing tray the first time, use the following instructions:
•
Remove the griddles and the grease holder. Place the backing tray above the burners.
•
Sprinkle the braising pan with salt (unwanted substances like water and dirt will be absorbed by the
salt).
•
Poor a layer of oil in the braising pan and heat the braising pan till the inside smokes and darkens.
•
Clean the braising pan with a dry cloth. The braising pan is now ready to be used.
Note! Keep the backing tray at all times slightly fat to prevent oxidation.
Important !
When you are using the 1/1 backing tray, you must remove the griddle and the grease holder. When
you don't do this, there will be such an amount of heat inside the appliance that this heat will cause
damage.
