Connecting the sensor briefs to the bedwetting alarm
The Contessa bedwetting alarm is wireless, so when the receiver is on and
the transmitter is clicked onto the sensor briefs, the bedwetting alarm is
ready for use.
Setting the volume
Using a small screwdriver, you can easily set the volume to the desired
level by turning the screw on the bottom of the receiver (see page 12).
The vibrating element (optional)
An external vibrating element can be attached to the Contessa bedwetting
alarm. This element is not included and must be purchased separately. The
connector of the vibrating element is attached to the back of the receiver.
The vibrating element is placed under the pillow or mattress. If the audible
alarm is triggered, the vibrating alarm is also activated.
Bedwetting alarm ready for nightly use
At bedtime, the Contessa bedwetting alarm is switched on, the Urifl ex
sensor briefs are put on and the transmitter is attached to them. Place the
receiver within the range of a few meters at a location in the bedroom that
you like best. The only condition is that the user really needs to get out of
bed to turn off the alarm! The user must wake entirely and should not be
able to switch off the alarm subconsciously.
Then the alarm goes off...
As soon as the fi rst drops of urine reach the briefs, the alarm will sound
