You have become the owner of a technically most advanced wristwatch. Its powerful
Microprocessor is programmed with the latest version of Ventura's EasySkroll
that allows you to set and use the multiple functions intuitively with a single scroller.
The energy for this entire system is provided by your own wrist-movements that activate an
oscillating mass transmitting the rotations to the MGS
and stored in an accumulator.
IMPORTANT: Energy-management
In its gift-box, your watch is switched-off to preserve energy during storage and transport;
to start it, press the scroller. To maintain operation, we recommend you to wear your SPARC
whenever possible.
Automatic system shut-down:
When your SPARC is not moved for 50 hours, the system shuts itself down completely to
preserve the accumulator-charge. To manually shut-down the system, press scroller and light
button simultaneously for 4 seconds and then release. Resume normal operation by pressing
the scroller, you have to reset time and date.
Automatic sleep mode: (Energy-saving mode)
A motion detector will switch the display off at following circumstances:

INTERNATIONAL WARRENTY
The manufacturer, Ventura Watch Ltd. Switzerland, its subsidiary Ventura GmbH Germany
and its appointed distributors are covering your watch with a two-year warranty against any
manufacturing defect.
The warranty is conditional to presentation of an evidence of the date of purchase, such as the
original, correctly filled-in warranty card or the dealer's invoice.
The service-technician appointed by the manufacturer or its official distributor will be the final
judge in determining, whether the cause of defect is within the manufacturers responsibility.
During the first 24 months after the date of purchase, the repair of a manufacturing defect
by the official service agent or the manufacturer or its appointed distributor shall be free of
charge. Thereafter, the labor cost and the parts replaced will be charged.
This limited warranty does not cover:
Damage resulting from accidents, mishandling or abusive use (Excessive shocks,
denting, breaking etc), unauthorized alteration, manipulation and/or repair by persons
without proven professional qualification.
Normal wear, tear and aging; straps and buckles.
Costs incurred for charging or replacing accumulators that have emptied because of in-
sufficient moving / wearing the watch.
Notice:
Your watch has a water resistant construction and has successfully passed a test simulating
a water depth of 30 m. (100 ft). This condition can however be impaired by shocks (e.g. to the
scroller) and excessive temperature changes. This warranty therefore does not per se cover
damage due to leakage.
The manufacturer and its appointed distributors decline any responsibility for consequential
damages and/or third-party claims and/or loss.
All parts replaced under guarantee remain the property of the manufacturer.
