DESCRIZIONE
IT
XQ80 è un motoriduttore tubolare per porte da garage e serrande metalliche ad
uso intermittente (tempo di funzionamento: 4 minuti prima dell'intervento del
protettore termico). Per la coppia nominale occorre riferirsi a quanto indicato
nei dati di targa su ciascun modello. Per l'installazione, XQ80 deve essere
completato con una coppia di adattatori (corrispondenti con il rullo avvolgitore),
e con una piastra si sostegno.

INSTALLAZIONE (Fig. 1)
IMPORTANTE: Prima dell'installazione rimuovere tutti i cavi inutili e disattivare
qualunque apparecchiatura presente non necessaria per il funzionamento.
Per tubi con diametro di 101.6x2 mm applicare l'adattatore all'anello di comando (Fig. 1a), in
caso di utilizzo di adattatori con diametro maggiore di 101.6 mm fissarli all'anello di comando
con 2 viti (Fig. 1b).
Innestare la puleggia motrice nella presa di forza. L'innesto ha un verso quindi utilizzare la
sola pressione della mano senza usare utensili (Fig. 1c). Bloccarla con il dado di fissaggio
dopo aver inserito la rondella (Fig. 1d). Infilare l'XQ80 nel tubo (preparato secondo lo
schema di Fig.2) fino a che l'estremità dello stesso non arrivi alla battuta dell'anello di
comando del finecorsa (Fig. 1e). Fissare il tubo alla puleggia motrice con 3 viti (Fig. 1f) e
all'anello di comando/adattatore con 2 viti (Fig. 1g). La piastra di sostegno del motoriduttore,
va fissata in modo che il tubo sia perfettamente in orizzontale (Fig. 6).
ATTENZIONE!
- Non battere mai sulla testa del motore (D) per introdurlo nel tubo.
- Il diametro minimo del rullo avvolgitore è 94mm.
- Le viti di fissaggio della stecca sul rullo non devono toccare la parte tubolare del
motoriduttore.Utilizzare delle viti adeguate.
- L'installazione inadeguata del motoriduttore può provocare danni a persone o cose.
COLLEGAMENTO ELETTRICO (Fig. 3)
Controllare che la tensione di rete disponibile sull'impianto sia quella indicata nei dati
di targa.
ATTENZIONE: Nella rete di alimentazione deve essere presente un dispositivo di
sezionamento con distanza di apertura tra i contatti di almeno 3mm. Il collegamento alla rete
dell'XQ80 deve essere eseguito da tecnici qualificati in grado di operare nel rispetto delle
norme. Collegare il motoriduttore secondo lo schema di Fig. 3.
ATTENZIONE!
- Se il motoriduttore gira in sensoinverso (la porta si chiude con il pulsante apertura
o viceversa) occorre invertire i conduttori nero e marrone;
- Non collegare più di un motoriduttore per ogni interruttore;
- UTILIZZARE UNICAMENTE INTERRUTTORI CON INTERBLOCCO (INTERRUTTORI
DOVE NON É POSSIBILE AZIONARE CONTEMPORANEAMENTE I PULSANTI DI SALITA E
DISCESA);
- Non azionare la porta quando si stanno compiendo delle pulizie o manutenzione e
scollegare l'alimentazione;
- L'interruttore che aziona l'apparecchio deve essere installato in vista
dell'automazione ad una altezza non superiore a 1,5m e lontano da parti in
movimento.
- Non permettere ai bambini di giocare con i comandi.
REGOLAZIONE FINECORSA (Fig. 4)
XQ80 viene fornito con i finecorsa preregolati per circa tre giri in entrambi i sensi di rotazione.
Ruotando le viti in senso antiorario (svitando) si aumenta la corsa del rullo (aumento del
numero dei giri), ruotandole in senso orario (avvitando) si diminuisce la corsa del rullo
(diminuzione del numero dei giri).
IMPORTANTE: Le procedure di regolazione sotto indicate sono valide sia con il
motoriduttore installato a destra che a sinistra della serranda.
Ad installazione avvenuta, e prima di collegare la prima stecca della serranda al tubo,
azionare l'XQ80 nel senso della discesa/svolgimento finchè non si ferma.
ATTENZIONE: Accertarsi del giusto senso di rotazione del rullo.
FINECORSA DISCESA
a) Agendo sulla vite di regolazione DISCESA (Fig. 4.2) ruotare in senso antiorario (+) fino a
che il tubo sia nella posizione più comoda per il fissaggio del primo elemento della
porta/serranda.
b) Fissare l'elemento al tubo e quindi agendo sulla vite di regolazione DISCESA (Fig. 4.2)
ruotare in senso orario (-) oppure antiorario (+) per regolare esattamente la posizione di
finecorsa "DISCESA".
FINECORSA SALITA
c) Sollevare la serranda finché non si ferma e poi agendo sulla vite di regolazione SALITA
(Fig. 4.1), ruotarla in senso antiorario (+) fino a portare la la serranda alla posizione
desiderata.
d) Per correggere il finecorsa "SALITA", se oltrecorsa, azionare elettricamente l'XQ80 nel
senso della discesa/svolgimento per un breve tratto quindi, agendo sulla vite di
regolazione SALITA (Fig. 4.1), ruotare in senso orario (-). Ripetere la procedura dal punto C.
N.B.: Le frecce 1 e 2 indicano la direzione di rotazione controllata da ciascuna vite
di regolazione. Le frecce A e B indicano il senso di rotazione per aumentare (+) o
diminuire (-) il numero dei giri controllati dal finecorsa.
IMPORTANTE: Per rispondere alle nuove norme Europee (EN 13241 - EN 12453) XQ80
è provvisto di un terzo contatto di sicurezza che interrompe l'alimentazione in caso di
superamento dei finecorsa salita, discesa o azionando la manovra d'emergenza (Fig. 5).
PRECAUZIONI NEL CASO IN CUI SIA INTERVENUTO IL CONTATTO DI SICUREZZA
FINECORSA
Se il motoriduttore non funziona nei due sensi di rotazione e dai controlli risulta che:
- il cablaggio elettrico è ben fatto;
- la manovra di soccorso non è innestata
girare entrambe le viti di regolazione in senso antiorario (+) finché non viene disattivato il
micro di sicurezza e ripristinata la funzionalità del motore. Il motoriduttore, data tensione,
ripartirà.
MANOVRA DI SOCCORSO (Fig. 5)
Nel caso vi sia un'interruzione nell'alimentazione ed occorre azionare ugualmente la
serranda, i modelli XQ80 contrassegnati da una M consentono la manovra di emergenza
della serranda.
IMPORTANTE: prima di azionare manualmente la serranda togliere tensione all'impianto
di automazione. Questa prescrizione è valida nonostante il comando manuale sia
provvisto di una sicurezza elettrica.Ricordarsi di ridare tensione dopo aver terminato le
operazioni di manovra manuale.
Queste indicazioni valgono sia con motore a destra che con motore a sinistra.
Per azionare manualmente la serranda tirare verso il basso l'occhiolo (Fig. 5a) con una
leggera pressione (Attenzione: un micro di sicurezza interromperà la tensione di
alimentazione). Ruotare la manovella in senso orario per aprire o in senso antiorario per
chiudere la serranda (Fig. 5.2). Terminato l'azionamento manuale, ruotare nel senso opposto
finché non viene disinserita la manovra e ripristinato il micro di sicurezza.

DESCRIPTION
EN
XQ80 is a tubular motor for garage doors and roller shutters for intermittent use
(working time: 4 minutes before the thermal protector intervention). The torque
of each model is indicated on the relative label. To complete installation, XQ80
must be provided with a couple of adaptors (corresponding with the tube) and
a fixing bracket. For a list of the available accessories, refer to the catalogue.
INSTALLATION (Fig. 1)
IMPORTANT: Before installation remove all unnecessary wires and disconnect any
unnecessary device.
For tubes with a diameter 2x101.6 mm insert adapter in the limits ring (Fig. 1a); when
using adapters with a diameter 101.6 mm fix them to the ring by two screws (Fig. 1b) .
Insert the pulley in the drive shaft. The coupling of the drive pulley onto the motor drive
goes one way only; insert it by hand pressure without any tools (Fig.1c). Secure it with a
nut after inserting the ring (Fig. 1d). Insert the motor into the tube (prepared according
to the diagram in Fig.2) until its end stops against the limits ring (Fig. 1e). Fix the tube to
the drive pulley by 3 screws (Fig. 1f) and at the limits ring/adapter by two screws (Fig. 1g).
The motor bracket is to be fixed so that the tube is perfectly horizontal (Fig. 6).
WARNING!
- Never hit on the motor head (D) when you insert it into the tube.
- The minimum tube diameter is 94mm.
- The screws used to fix the last slat on the tube may be too long and reach the
tubular part of the motor. Use appropriate screws or fixing clips.
- A wrong motor installation can damage persons or objects.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTION (Fig. 3)
Check that the mains voltage available on the system is as shown on the label.
ATTENTION: The power supply must contemplate a switching device with an opening
distance between contacts of at least 3mm. The motor mains connection must be executed
by qualified technicians able to operate in compliance with the rules.
Connect the motor according to the diagram in Fig. 3.
ATTENTION!
- If the motor runs the wrong way round (es.: the shutter/door closes with the up
control or the other way round) the black and brown cables must be reversed.
- Do not connect more than one tubular motor to a single switch.
- USE ONLY SWITCHES WITH INTERBLOCK CIRCUIT (SWITCHES WHERE IT IS NOT
POSSIBLE TO PUSH AT THE SAME TIME THE UP AND DOWN BUTTONS);
- Do not set the shutter/door into motion while you are cleaning or servicing the
device and disconnect the supply.
- The switch controlling the motor must be installed in full view, not higher than
1,5m and it must be kept far from moving parts.
- Children must not be allowed to play with the controls
LIMIT SWITCHES SETTING (Fig. 4)
XQ80 are supplied with pre-set limit switches, in order to allow three turns in both directions.
Turning the screws anticlockwise (unscrewing), you increase the number of revolutions of the
tube (increase travel). Turning the screws clockwise (screwing), you decrease the number of
revolutions of the tube (reduce travel).
IMPORTANT: Limit-switches setting procedures shown are valid for right and left side
installation.
After installation and before fixing the first slat of the shatter at the tube, activate the motor
in down direction until it stops.
ATTENTION: Check that the motor/tube turns in the right direction.
DOWN LIMIT SWITCH
a) Turn the DOWN adjusting screw (Fig. 4.2) anticlockwise (+) so that the tube reaches the
best position in order to fix the first slat of the shutter/door.
b) Fixing the slat at the tube and then turn the DOWN adjusting screw (Fig. 4.2) clockwise
(-) or anticlockwise (+) in order to set the exact desired DOWN position.
UP LIMIT SWITCH
c) Open the shutter until it does not stop and then turn the UP setting screw (Fig. 4.1)
anticlockwise (+) till the shutter reaches the exact desired UP position.
d) In case you need to correct the UP limit position, because it's over, close the shutter
shortly, then turn the UP adjusting screw clockwise (-). Repeat then the sequence from
point C.
N.B.: Arrows 1 and 2 indicate the direction of rotation controlled by each adjusting
screw. Arrows A and B indicate the screw direction for increasing (+) or decreasing (-)
the revolutions controlled by the limit-switches.
IMPORTANT: in order to meet the new European standards (EN 13241 - EN 12453) AXIAL100
has a third safety contact that cuts power in case the UP or DOWN limit goes over or in case
the emergency override is activated (Fig. 5).
PRECAUTIONS IN CASE THE LIMIT SWITCH SAFETY CONTACT ACTIVATES
If the motor does not work in both directions and the checks show that:
- the wiring is correct;
- the emergency override is not engaged
then turn both adjusting screws anticlockwise (+) until the safety switch is turned off and the
motor functionality restored. The motor, once powered, will start working again.
MANUAL OVERRIDE (Fig. 5)
In case of a lack in power supply and the shutter/door needs to be operated, the models
XQ80 marked with the letter "M" enable an emergency operation of the shutter/door.
IMPORTANT: Before you operate the shutter/door manually the automation system
must be switched off. This requirement is valid notwithstanding the manual override
is provided with an electrical safety. Remember to switch power supply on again after
finishing the emergency operations.
These recommendations apply whether the motor is installed on the right or on the left.
In order to operate the shatter/door manually pull the eyelet down (Fig. 5a) with a slight
pressure (Note: A safety switch will interrupt the power supply). Turn the handle clockwise
to open or anticlockwise to close the shutter/door (Fig. 5.2). After the manual operation, turn
in the opposite way until the manual override is off and the safety switch restored.
