MOUNTING
Note: The mounting location should be as even as possible to avoid distortion of
the housing during mounting. If an external power supply is used, the connec-
tion cables at the mounting location should be in the centre of the lower third
behind the bell push.
Opening the housing
Open the bell push button by unscrewing the housing screws (4) with a suitable
screwdriver (Torx T10) and then carefully lift off the front housing. Make sure
that the name plate(s) do not fall out.
Put the front housing and the silicone seal with the name plate(s) aside so that
they are not damaged during further assembly.
Mounting
You can use the rear casing as a drilling template. Align it at the mounting loca-
tion. Use a spirit level and mark the drill holes with a suitable pencil.
Drill the holes in the wall at the marked locations using a 6mm masonry drill bit
GB
and insert one of the supplied wall plugs into each hole.
Note: If you are not mounting the bell push button on a stone wall, use other
mounting material accordingly (not included).
If an external power supply is to be connected, lead the connecting cable from
behind through the cable entry (12) into the housing.
Use the screws supplied to fix the rear housing to the wall.
Connection of external power supply
The connection of the external power supply can be made at the terminals (10)
as shown in figures 2. You do not need to pay attention to polarity.
Simply connect the two cables of the power supply on the far left and far right to
the connection terminals. The terminals are each double.
Use a power supply unit / transformer with 8 - 12 V AC or DC.
