7. TROUBLESHOOTING

• Continuous flow of water from the safety unit:
Check the network pressure. If it is greater than 0,5 MPa (5 bar), fit a pressure reducer to
the water supply. If the pressure is correct (lower than 0,5 MPa - 5 bar), clean the safety
unit valve.

• Low pressure at the hot water tap:
Significant scaling: drain the device, de-scale and check the safety valve.
• If there is a continuous escape of steam or boiling water from the drain or when a water
tap is opened, cut the electrical power and the power to the primary heat exchanger circuit.
Inform the installer.

8. WARRANTY

The equipment must be installed by a qualified professional in accordance with best practice,
the standards, regulations and technical documents in force and the instructions in our
technical manuals.
It must be used in accordance with the instructions and regularly maintained by a specialist.
In no case will operations under the warranty confer eligibility for the payment of damages
or extend the warranty period.
In the event of a clearly established manufacturing fault or defective materials (which must
be proved by the purchaser) acknowledged by Groupe Atlantic, the manufacturer's liability
is limited to:
• Removable boiler parts: supplying a replacement for the part acknowledged to be faulty
including transport costs, but excluding the labour costs associated with removing and
replacing the part, for a period of two years from the date of commissioning or, failing this,
the invoice date, without exceeding a period six months longer than the time since the
manufacturing date.
Warranty periods:
Tank: 5 years
Removable parts: 2 years
Recommendations:In very hard-water regions (Th>20°F), the use of a softener will not
invalidate the warranty as long as the softener is set up in accordance with standard practice
and is checked and maintained regularly. The water hardness must remain above 10°f.
The warranty does not cover faults due to causes including but not limited to:
Abnormal environmental conditions:
• Domestic water supply with particularly abnormal aggression criteria.
• Damage caused by frost, lightning or flood, faulty taps, poor ventilation and in general any
cause acknowledged to be exceptional.
Installations that do not comply with regulations, standards and best practice:
• Absence or incorrect fitting of a new safety valve or safety unit complying with the standard,
changes to the unit's settings after tampering with the seal
• Abnormal corrosion due to incorrect hydraulic connection (direct iron-copper contact)
• Water pressure higher than 0,5 MPa (5 bar) at the inlet to the device
