concerning the ROHS and in the rule 2013/814/EU completing the directive 2009/125/EC
for the eco-design.
EN
- Energy labelling (2010/30/EU): from 26/09/2015
In application of the directive and according to the requirements of the EU regulation
No. 812/2013 of 18 February 2013, the information on storage tanks with a volume of less
than or equal to 500 litres is available in appendix B (see page 21).

2. DESCRIPTION OF STORAGE TANKS

The CORTEK storage tank is designed for domestic hot water production systems.
The system can be of the solar, thermodynamic or boiler type.
The CORTEK storage tank can be installed on a primary network for instantaneous hot water
production systems, coupled to one or more boilers. This system is particularly adapted to
the prevention of the proliferation of Legionella bacteria on sensitive sites, such as hospitals.
In instantaneous domestic hot water production systems, a buffer volume of primary water
at the inlet of the plate exchanger is absolutely necessary to prevent the boiler burner from
frequently starting and stopping and to achieve good heating system performance.
Instantaneous hot water production systems require, at all times, the nominal power of
the plate exchanger and a primary temperature equal to or higher than the primary design
temperature of the plate exchanger on the boiler(s).
The primary water tanks absorb peaks in consumption of domestic hot water or are used as
storage as part of the energy recovery process.
The water tanks are thermally insulated with injected polyurethane and painted sheet metal
(cooling constant of 0.18 Wh/24h/L/°K).
Maximum water temperature in use: 95°C
Service pressure: 0,8 MPa (8 bar)
Electric immersion heating elements (3 kW mono 230V) can be added to the CORTEK.
The technical specifications can be found in the appendix A page 19.
A data plate listing all the information about the tank is located on the right side of the tank.
Please take note of these details before contacting After-Sales Service.
