Switch On/Off:
4. Insert batteries according to the "+,-" sign to battery socket.
5. Set up the instrument on the floor, wall mount or the tripod. When using tripod, support
the centering nut of the instrument with one hand and tighten the centering screw.
6. ON/OFF button is located on the right side of instrument body. Switch right to ON to
start operation.
Operating mode:
The instrument has 2 operating mode keys:
LINE: Press LINE key to project Vertical and Horizontal lines by step.
MODE: Press MODE key once to activate DETECTOR mode (indicated by green light). Press MODE key
twice to switch to INCLINE mode (indicated by blue light). Press MODE key 3 times to activate both
DETECTOR and INCLINE mode (indicated by both green and blue light on).
Automatic Compensation (Self-leveling on horizontal surface):
3. Switch to ON to work with the compensator automatically. The compensator
automatically aligns a position within the range of self-leveling range +- 2.5°.
4. Laser beam starts to blink when the instrument is out of the range of self-alignment
range. In this case, place the instrument on flat surface, adjust tripod or base legs until
blinking stops.
Operation without the automatic compensation (Self-leveling alert OFF):
1. Switch to INCLINE mode to allow constructing inclined planes.
2. At the switched off automatic compensation you can freely hold the instrument in your
hand or place it on a suitable surface. Two laser lines are not always constructed as
orthogonal in the mode of crossing lines.
1. Do not attempt to open the instrument. Repair must be carried out by authorized after-sales
service centers.
2. Do not drop, knock, or shake the instrument to avoid affecting precision.
3. Remove batteries when instrument is not in use.
4. Keep the instrument clean at all times. Use a soft cloth with mild soap for body, and lens tissue for
glass windows.
