• CAUTION: SIGNS OF OVERHEATING. If the appliance gives off an unpleasant smell,
excessive heating or smoke, stop using immediately and contact the local Customer
Care Center. (Note: New appliances may give off a smell that will disappear
naturally over time.)
• CAUTION: DO NOT RUN APPLIANCE WITH BLOCKED VENT TUBE AS PRESSURE MAY
BUILD AND CAUSE CONTAINER FAILURE. Personal injury may result.
• Be careful when wearing a necktie, necklace, scarf, or other similar clothing item or
accessory, to ensure it does not become entangled.
• Place the appliance on a flat and stable surface.
• Do not attempt to move the base, disassemble parts, or try to lock parts while
appliance is on.
• Do not operate the appliance for more than thirty (30) minutes at a time. It may cause a motor
failure due to overheating. Permit five (5) minutes of cool down time before continued use.
• Do not use outdoors.
• Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner or stove or in a heated
oven or microwave.
• CAUTION: CLOSE SUPERVISION IS NECESSARY WHEN APPLIANCE IS USED BY OR NEAR
CHILDREN OR OTHER PERSONS WITH LIMITED MENTAL OR PHYSICAL CAPACITY.

CLEANING SAFETY
When cleaning your Omega Blender, observe the following additional safety precautions:
• CAUTION: UNPLUG BEFORE CLEANING. Always unplug the device before cleaning
or assembling.
• Do not put the appliance in a dishwasher, dryer, microwave, or other similar device.
• Do not wash the appliance at high temperatures of 176ºF (80ºC) or more. It may cause a failure
or deformation of parts.
