Correctly pretensioned
The double spring rope pulley has a separate mounting plate. Depending on the conditions on
site, this can be installed either lengthwise or crosswise on the mounting bracket (see dimension
drawing).
Both spring rope pulleys of the double spring rope pulley are equipped with one rope, but
only one of them is used at a time. Which rope is to be used is decided on site based on the
installation position. Always choose the rope that is better aligned in a linear fashion with the
door movement.

Put the loose rope back on the fixed spring rope pulley, still holding
the housing of the spring rope pulley (Fig. 3).
When placing the rope, observe the guide grooves and carefully
release the spring rope pulley (allow the housing to slip through
slowly). Open the door completely once and close it again, cor-
recting the rope guide in the grooves if necessary. Check door
movement with tensioned spring and repeat procedure if neces-
sary. Make sure that the spring is not pretensioned too much, as
untensioning is only possible with great care in the version without
a slip hub.
