CAUTION
Pretension only when the door is fully open.
When pretensioning the spring rope pulley make sure not to release the rope by
accident, as the spring would unwind without control and may get damaged.

Maximum pretension: Turn screw until it locks. Then release again half a turn against the direc-
tion of the arrow. Otherwise the service life of the spring will be reduced (Fig. 4).

On both sides of the spring rope pulley is a tensioning
screw (SW 17). Turning it in the direction of arrow
increases the pretension, turning against the direction
of arrow reduces the pretension.
Thanks to the integrated sliding hub, there is no risk
of damaging the spring in case of an error during
tensioning.
The spring rope pulley is first fastened to the square
and can then be pretensioned by pulling on the
rope or by turning the spring rope pulley by hand
in the direction of the tensioning arrow. Pull out the
rope of the spring rope pulley by hand by approx.
1 turn (Fig. 1).
This tensions the spring. Hold the spring pulley firm-
ly by the housing to maintain the spring tension. Let
the rope slacken (Fig. 2).
