OPERATING THE RECEIVER
PIP (Picture in Picture) Player Mode
- The recorded programs are displayed in the left Save File List
box. And in the box at the right bottom side, the file size (save
length), duration, recording date & time, attribute information
of selected recorded program is displayed and free space of
HDD.
- In addition, the recorded program is displayed on the PIP
screen at the right window when the particular saved file is
selected.
- Type of TV and radio of a recording file is indicated with an icon
on the left of the file name.
- The current directory is displayed on the bottom of File List box.
There are five directories: A, B, C, D and E.
Length (green) : Each key pressing displays the files in order or reverse order of sizes.
Date (yellow) : Each key pressing displays the files in order or reverse order of time of
storing.
Alpha (blue) : Each key pressing displays the files in order or reverse order of alphabets.
Directory (red) : Pressing the key changes the directory of the file lists.
Mosaic (orange) : Pressing the key changes the mode to Mosaic Play mode.
- PVR functions are available.
- Setting Play mode to Repeat at HDD setting automatically repeats file playback.
- Setting to One Time stops playback upon completion of playback once.
- The status bar on the bottom of the screen indicates playback size and a bookmark.
N N o o t t e e : It is not allowed to play a locked channel on PIP. The channel shall be changed into Full
Player mode for playback. CAM is necessary for scrambled channels.

Full Player Mode
- On the bottom of the screen, recording information is
displayed including recording file name, recording size, free
space, and recording start time.
- The index of a current playback file is indicated in the seven
segments.
- The current playback size is displayed on the top right
corner of the screen.
- Pressing the red key displays the status bar, and
pressing again the key the information of a recording file.
- PVR functions are available.
- Once you play a file while recording, the recording size is
displayed on the top right corner of the screen.
Mosaic Player Mode
- Still images of a playback file are displayed in nine small
windows.
- A message reading "Scrambled" is prompted for a
scrambled file.
- Of nine windows, on window in red is for animation playback.
The red window can be selected with the
/ / / / Pg- or Pg+ keys.
- Pressing the OK key displays the red window in full screen.
Pressing again the OK key in the full screen displays the nine
small windows again.
N N o o t t e e :
- PVR functions are not available in Mosaic mode. You shall switch the mode to Full Player mode
with the orange key to enable PVR functions.
- It may take several seconds when you enter the initial Mosaic mode or switching between
pages.
- The radio channel, the lock channel, and the scrambled channel prohibited of decoding are not
allowed of displaying in full screen, or switching to Full Player mode.
