Commissioning and operation
Description of the Appliance

A rotary coupling (connection on both the sides
M 22 x 1.5) for connecting the hand-spray gun to
the high-pressure hose can be ordered as an ac-
cessory under the part number 6.401-412.0.
Preparing the Appliance
Selecting the high-pressure nozzles
You need to use the matching high-pressure
nozzles to ensure that your high-pressure clean-
er works properly.
Note
Use diagram 1 on the last page of these operat-
ing instructions to determine the nozzle size.
Draw the vertical line at the desired pressure
(A).
Draw the horizontal line (B) at the desired
flow quantity.
Select the curve located closest to the inter-
section point of the two lines and read the
nozzle size (C) at the right end of the curve.
Installing the nozzles
Unscrew the part that can be screwed.
Insert nozzle.
Screw on the part that can be screwed.
Determining the recoil force
Note
Use diagram 2 on the last page of these operat-
ing instructions to determine the recoil force.
Draw the vertical line at the desired flow
quantity (A).
Select the intersection point between the line
and the curve of the selected nozzle size (B).
Draw the horizontal line on the left through
the intersection point and read the recoil
force (C).
Initiate suitable measures according to the
following table.
Recoil Measure
force
0 - 150 N Hold the telescope pipe with
both hands and ensure that it is
standing properly.
150 -250 N Operate the telescope pipe only
with shoulder support.
< 250 N Operate the telescope pipe only
with mechanical guide.
Adjusting the length
To adjust the length of the telescopic spray pipe,
loosen locking nut.
Pull out/ push in the telescopic pipe to the
desired length.
Tighten the locking nut manually.
Operation
Check the pressure and temperature ranges
set at the high-pressure cleaner; adjust ac-
cording to the values approved for accesso-
ry.
Press safety catch on the trigger gun to re-
lease it and pull lever.
Interrupting operation
Release the lever on the trigger gun.
Use the safety catch to secure the handgun
lever.
Finish operation
Release the lever on the trigger gun.
Switch off the high pressure cleaner.
Turn off tap.
Press the lever on the trigger gun to release
any remaining pressure in the system.
Use the safety catch to secure the handgun
lever.
Clean the telescope spray pipe.
