LED Controller and

Wireless Wall Dimmer
Please read these operating instructions carefully prior
to operation and keep them for later reference.
1 Applications
The LED controller LC-10R is used for switching on / off
and dimming single-colour LED strips. It is operated
by wireless control (868 MHz) via the wall dimmer
LC-10T. The controller is equipped with four outputs
for connecting LED strips. The maximum load of each
output is 5 A.
When multiple wall dimmers are used and these
dimmers have been assigned accordingly, each dim-
mer will be able to separately control a different con-
troller. However, a single wall dimmer may also control
as many controllers as desired at the same time.
1.1 Conformity and
approval of the wireless dimmer
Herewith, MONACOR INTERNATIONAL declare that
the wireless dimmer LC-10T is in accordance with the
basic requirements and the other relevant regulations
of the directive 1999 / 5 / EC. The declaration of con-
formity is available on request from MONACOR
INTERNATIONAL. The dimmer is licence-free and
generally approved for operation in EU and EFTA
countries.
2 Important Notes
The units (controller and dimmer) correspond to all
relevant directives of the EU and are therefore marked
with
.
G
The units are suitable for indoor use only. Protect
them against dripping water and splash water, high
air humidity and heat (admissible ambient tempera-
ture range: 0 – 40 °C).
G
For cleaning only use a dry, soft cloth; never use
water or chemicals.
G
No guarantee claims for the units and no liability for
any resulting personal damage will be accepted if
the units are used for other purposes than originally
intended, if they are not correctly connected or oper-
ated, if they are overloaded, or if they are not
repaired in an expert way.
If the units are to be put out of operation de-
finitively, take them to a local recycling plant
for a disposal which is not harmful to the en-
vironment.
3 Installing the Controller
1) Fasten the controller with screws at a suitable
place. Unscrew the covers of the terminals and con-
nect the controller according to the figure below:
2) Connect the LED strips to the terminals OUTPUT 1
to 4. Observe the correct polarity. Attention: The
load at each output must not exceed 5 A.
3) If required, additionally connect a pushbutton switch
to the terminals PUSH SWITCH for switching on/off
the LEDs (e. g. for test purposes).

4) Connect a regulated power supply unit to the termi-
nals INPUT. Set the power supply unit to the oper-
ating voltage of the LEDs connected (12 V min.,
36 V max.). The power supply unit must be able
to supply the current required for operating the
LEDs plus a supply current of 75 mA for the con-
troller.
5) Replace the covers.
4 Installing the Wireless Wall Dimmer
1) Disassemble the dimmer first:
a) Remove the knob (2).
b) Remove the round spacer (4).
c) To remove the front plate (5), insert a suitable
screwdriver into the gap (3) and press to unlock
the front plate.
2) Insert a 3 V button cell of type CR 2032 into the
holder (7). Observe the correct polarity.
3) Insert the dimmer housing (6) into a suitable flush-
mounted socket and fasten with two screws.
4) Replace the front plate, the spacer and the knob.
5 Assigning the Controller to the Wall Dimmer
For operation, assign the controller to the wall dimmer:
1) On the controller, briefly press the button LEARN-
ING KEY (1) using a thin object.
2) Then quickly press the knob (2) of the dimmer. The
LEDs will flash once.
3) To control multiple controllers via the same dimmer,
repeat this process for each additional controller.
4) To cancel the assignment for a controller, keep the
button LEARING KEY pressed until the LEDs flash
twice. Now the controller may be assigned to a dif-
ferent wall dimmer LC-10T.
6 Operation
To switch on the LED strips, briefly press the knob (2).
To adjust the brightness, turn the knob. To switch off,
press the knob again.
If operation is not possible, check the battery of the
dimmer and replace it, if required.
7 Replacing the Battery of the Dimmer
1) Remove the knob (2).
2) Remove the round spacer (4).
3) To remove the front plate (5), insert a suitable
screwdriver into the gap (3) and press to unlock the
front plate.
4) Unscrew the dimmer from the flush-mounted socket
and remove it. Now the battery holder (7) is acces-
sible.
5) Insert a new 3 V button cell of type CR 2032, with
the positive and negative poles as indicated on the
holder.
6) To reassemble the dimmer, proceed in reverse
order.
