The braking system is critical for the safety of the vehicle�
For personal safety one should take care of its condition�
Brake inspection
Inspect your brakes on a regular basis
• Check the brake fluid level�
• Inspect the brake cables for leaks�
• Check if the brake pads thickness is above 2�4 mm�
• Check if the brake discs thickness is above 1�8 mm�
• Do a performance check�
To check the brake performance, push the scooter forward while
pressing each of the brake levers in turn� Each of the brakes should
be able to hold the scooter in place�
Brake maintenance and repair should only
be performed by authorised service centres�
